shidou hikaru

First appearance in volume 1 Out of the three Magic Knights, Hikaru is the un-assumed leader for her unrivaled strength of heart. Hikaru is always seen has being happy and willing to help those who need it. She cares about everyone very deeply. From the manga summary...Hikaru is a pure, honest, and simple girl. Although she is vertically challenged, she can jump very well. She is good at using a sword because she learned kendo as a small child. Her element is Fire. spoiler ahead Because she has such a strong heart, Hikaru becomes the last pillar of Cephiro. She indicates that the Pillar system is wrong and decides to get rid of it and allowing the people of Cephiro to run their world. Lantis falls in love with her and asks for her hand in marriage; Hikaru tells him that she loves everyone including him.

hououjii fuu

First appearance in volume 1 Fuu is the brains of the group. She is also more of the defense and supporter of the group then as offense strength. Fuu usually wears glasses, but when she turns into a Legendary Magic Knight she does not need them anymore and can see perfectly fine. From the manga summary...Always smiling but she is actually quite a strategist. Her comments are often right to the point. Her time spent in archery club at school allows her to use the bow and arrow well. Her magical element is Wind. spoiler ahead Fuu often aids the group using healing spells and shield magic. She is indeed quite brainy because she even hoodwinks Ferio into leading the Knights of the Forest of Silence. In the 2nd Arc, Fuu and Ferio do get together.
