All of Pierce's Tortall set novels have been favorites of mine and Trickster's Choice and Queen are no exception. These duo novels continue the legacy of Tortall and its amazing characters. Most of Pierce's novels have been set in the magical world of Tortall. Below is the chronological order of Tortall set novels.

The Provost's Dog Trilogy: Rebba Published in 2006, this story takes place 200 years before The Song of the Lioness, where Rebba, a street girl, is raised to be a Dog (police) by Tortall's Lord Provost.
The Song of the Lioness Quartet: Alanna Published in 1983, this begins the entire Tortall storyline with Alanna, a noble's daughter, whom disguises herself to become a Knight.
The Immortals Quartet: Daine Published in 1992, this quartet immediately follows The Song of the Lioness Quartet, featuring a new herione Daine, whom can incidently communicate with animals.
The Protector of the Small Quartet: Kel Published in 1999, takes place three years after The Immortals Quartet, a new generation is born where girls are now able to become Knights...how will Keladry, the first known girl Knight in training, prove?
Trickster's Couplet: Aly Published in 2003, set right after The Protector of the Small Quartet, follow the coming of age of Aly, daughter of the Lioness, whom is thrusted into her own adventure that will test her skills as a spy.
