Please check out the Overview section for more information on So Magical. I highly suggest you read everything and look around before filling out the join form since as our current traders have said, we're a bit different. Our mission is to have a TCG that is simple, high quality, fun and innovative. We're also an old-school TCG. It means that we do many things the OLD way here. It means no mandatory forums and no insane amount of freebies.

disney tcg

Note that this is a Disney animated movie TCG. This means that you should be pretty familiar with Disney movies since many of the games here require that you've perhaps watched most of the movies. If you're unsure, feel free to test out some of our games and look around the site to see how Disney-fied you have to be =)

common sense/reading instructions

It's no secret on how to play TCGs. It requires that you be able to read and have common sense. By reading it allows to you follow what you're actually supposed to from playing games to filling out forms. Is it something you can figure out by yourself by simply using your own common sense or just reading the page instruction itself? If you don't understand something feel free to always ask me, I'm always here to explain things, but I can't play the game for you.

honor system/etiquette

I've become more lax in my days as a TCG owner, but that doesn't mean I enjoy it when people cheat. You should know by now what is the right or wrong thing to do in any type of game you play. If you're unsure of any rules/requirements at any time you can always contact me. I've listed a few, but not limited to, things you should not do in any TCG: cheat..., leave up traded cards, take cards directly from site without permission, play games multiple times, refresh game rewards.

Who wants to be around a snob, poser, or mean person in general? Please have some etiquette when playing this TCG. We all have our ups and downs, but please try to be pleasant and polite when you play!

email

It's very important here that you have a working email that can take attachments. Forums are not mandatory here so it's a bit hard to contact you if your email doesn't work. Many of the games also use email/attachement. Check your SPAM box often if it doesn't seem like you're getting emails from us. I would suggest using Gmail (if you need an invite, just contact me).

your site space

When you sign up, please have a site link that isn't broken. While you don't have to have the specific So Magical TCG page up, but a site that I could visit is nice. Giving me a broken link to visit tells me you don't know the basics of HTMLing. If you need space, I can provide it (although you have to show competence of making your own graphics). If you're using a free server and don't have enough space, I suggest using Photobucket. (There's no use trying to direct link here because I've disabled it) No Myspace, Xanga, Forum, Facebook accounts. Livejournals are fine as long as they aren't locked and you have a page dedicated to your joined TCGs.

have time to play

TCGs take time to play, however unlike many TCGs, So Magical does NOT have weekly games. Thus if you check back biweekly you're still able to keep up and play. For best playing, it would be great if you checked backed once a week! Regarding inactivity, if you don't put up your starter pack in a month, you will have to rejoin. If you don't update your trade log in 1 month you will be put on the Hiatus list. You'll be left on the hiatus list until you wish to play again, there is no time limit.

Slower Paced TCG

This is a more slower paced TCG since it is only run by one person. All games will be updated either once every two weeks or monthly. There will be no weekly games. I always update on time and on schedule (ask any member or take a peek at our updates). I also answer all emails within 24 hours. If there is an issue and I cannot complete the week's update, you will be informed ahead of time or right afterwards. I'd rather be responsible and steady than sporatic and flaky.

Also note that Mastering cards will be slower paced as well. I'd rather it be rewarding to master a deck, then just joining right away and mastering three decks instantly.
