frequently asked questions

regarding the site and how we review

Why is there only one reviewer here? Having owned two other WPRs and working at countless others I know the experience of having to hassle and depend on reviewers to finish up reviews on time and then having to edit their reviews. It's already time consuming to review sites by myself. By only having one reviewer also means that everyone who applys for a review will receive the same amount of quality in their review.

Where does your layout/brushes/graphics come from? All images are scanned in by me. If not I will credit the original owner if I ever do use resources. I will rarely used any pre-made brushes on my layouts. Anything that looks like a brush is not...it's probably a font that I altered or a default Adobe brush. All layouts are made and coded by me in Adobe Photoshop.

Why are some reviews short and some are long? If your review turns out to be short it is either 1. great job, there weren't many comments to make thus a better review will be shorter or 2. your site was small, not many pages to review. If your review turns out to be long it is either 1. many errors/comments were needed to fix things 2. your site has many pages. Overall though, if a site is well done they will usually receive a much shorter review than a site that needs help i.e. less error/structural comments.

This isn't a review site, if you don't give out points/or make biased comments...? True, a review is suppose to be biased. What I meant by unbiased is that I personally will not hold grudges upon any site despite my personal history if any with your site as well as your choice of layout sizes, colors, images used etc...unlike many other WPRs i.e. if my favorite color isn't pink and your layout is pink, I will never say your layout sucks just because I don't like pink (and yes I know a variety of WPRs that take off points for this). I am most definitely not doing this out of the fun for myself, but rather an enjoyment to help others.
