about

Neo Nobility was established in February 2001 on Angelfire (a free server) and is still running strong. It has been through many drastic changes including multiple moves on free servers such as Geocities and Envy to a five year stay at Mika's Vanilla-Dreams (net then org) and finally to my own domain. Neo Nobility has also changed its focus over the years from a massive guide to all forms of the series and later on devoting itself to the future/royalty aspect of the manga Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. I decided to focus on this particular area of the series because it is a very abstract section on which Takeuchi Naoko, the creator of Sailormoon, mentions and includes in the plot of her storyline, yet is not explained in depth. Takeuchi Naoko herself, expressed whims on expanding on this subject. And on a random note, I also love the princess designs that Naoko has drawn for her characters.

the name

Formerly known as Neptune Neo Nobility, a shrine to Sailorneptune, the Neptune was taken off after I decided to focus on the entire manga series. After deciding to focus on only the nobility/future aspect of the series, the name has somehow stuck and made sense in the process. A common error that many vistors have is calling this site Neo-Nobility (with a hyphen). While having a hypen is grammatically correct, there is no hyphen on this site's name. We are simply Neo Nobility (with no hypen).

Neo - new. We focus on the future of the series, indicating a new generation; it is also an allusion to Takeuchi Naoko's main character Neo Queen Serenity.

Nobility - the quality or state of being noble in character, quality, or rank, aristocracy. Since we focus on the royalty of the series it was a perfect alliteration fit, and also describes the noble characteristics of Sailormoon's protagonists.

the creator

Throughout the 10+ years since I started "webdesigning" I've kept my profile low in any community I've been involved with, especially in the Sailormoon community. Why? My sites speak for themselves without me having to blabber about who I am. (I also referred to myself as "we" sometimes on the site, because...I have little pixelated minions running around, just ignore it...) If you want to know more about my personality, feel free to visit my weblog Digital-wing.com. Below I've shared my one biggest irk being online and I've also given a couple of interviews while running this site, so you can check those out too...
