muse: originality and inspiration

Muse was created by Icera in 2004 as a hope to gather those who wish to retain their originality and also provide inspiration. This site was also created since there seemed to be no sites on the web that offered advice or just an ear to those who were being continually copied on the web. There have been a few cliques on the web that express the "no copying" stance, but they have all disappeared. Muse is not here to belittle any sites. We are not based on legality or other documented issues, but we will be happy to help your cause in staying original.

If you contact me via instant message, please tell me who you are, instead of just saying "hi." I have no idea what you want or who you are if all you message to me is "hi."

As always thank you to the members of Muse, you make the site what it is. The inspiration source of this site is from a popular clique known as Diff'rent Star, which is now closed. They stressed the aspect of being a "different"/original star. We are based on the same theme, but go a step further in providing support for those who have been copied.

Muse has three very different meanings. At Muse we hope to personify all three of the following with our mission of retaining original and inspiring.

past layouts

The layouts at Muse all represent different anime/manga girl characters that I feel personify the characteristics of a Muse.

01. Sakura - Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle This was one of the perfect images that portrayed what I thought a Muse looked like (if it was drawn manga style). Sakura is noted in her first anime/manga: Cardcaptor Sakura, but CLAMP has done a spin-off to put many of their old CLAMP characters into their new series: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. I enjoyed the soft green and peach scheme.

02. Soi Fong (Division II Captain) - Bleach After watching the battle between Yoruichi and Soi Fong during the Soul Society arc of Bleach, I just had to make a layout with Soi Fong (okay I would have made one with Yoruichi =P, but I couldn't find a good image). This was an experimental layout with the x-repeat background and some new css.

03. Haruno Sakura - Naruto You constantly see Sakura grow through the progress of the storyline. With her super strength and medical skills, she's one cool ninja. I love this color scheme, fresh and different, reminds me of springtime.
